Authorities say a second teenager has died from a New Years' Eve crash where two dirt bikes collided in rural northern Utah.

The fatal crash, involving three teenage boys and two Kawasaki model KX250 dirt bikes, occurred in Corrine on Sunday night.

The Box Elder County Sheriff's Office says a 14-year-old boy riding one of the dirt bikes died after he arrived at Primary Children’s Hospital in Salt Lake City. A 15-year-old boy riding on another bike died at the scene. A 16-year-old passenger on one of the bikes was hospitalized at University Hospital and is in stable condition.

Deputies say the three teens were riding the bikes on a farm access road in the city of Corinne. The motorcycles were traveling toward one another but instead of hitting head on, glanced off each other at impact. Both motorcycles were going about the same speed at the time of the accident. Officials estimate 30-40 MPH.

The sheriff's office says the motorcycles did not have headlights.
