Fresh Folk- November 10

On the show this week, I feature the personal songs of Natasha Borzilova, and the iconic songs of Annie Gallup. I’ll also play songs from new releases by Loretta Hagen, Brian Kallnec, and Grant Peeples, to name just a few.

Though we are heading into the holiday season, there are still some great concerts happening around the state, including: Rachel Yamagata at the State Room on Nov 23^rd, David Wilcox at the First Christian Reformed Church on Nov 29^th, and the Punch Brothers at the Depot on Dec 7^th. In Logan, the bluegrass band Chicken Dinner Road performs at Legends Billiards on Nov 30^th.

Blair Larsen

Originally from Virginia, Blair has lived in Logan for 20 years. She has earned degrees in Environmental Science, Earth Science Education, and Geology. She has been involved in the folk music community for many years, producing local concerts for nearly 20 years, and hosting Fresh Folk for over a decade. Blair is an avid fan of both science and music, and attempts to indulge both sides of her brain every day. Blair and her husband share their home with 4 exceptional cats.
