The Bees Season Extended

Major League Baseball recently announced the minor league season will be getting an extension of 10 games this season. Five of the Bee’s 10 additional games will be at Smith's Ballpark.

The season was intended to end on Sept. 21 but the league decided to add two final five game series. The Bees’ season will now end on Oct. 3, matching the end of the regular Major League Baseball season.

Currently, the Bees are still unaware of who they will be playing against for these 10 added games.

These extra games can possibly affect the outcome of the Triple-A West championship. However, the Bees are behind 9 ½ games from Reno, the current leader and would have to win the majority of their games for a chance to be the Triple-A West Champion.
