One of the world's biggest brewing companies says it may stop creating weak beer that can be sold at Utah grocery and convenience stores where stronger beer, wine and liquor sales are forbidden.
Anheuser-Busch warned Utah beer wholesalers in a letter this month that it may reduce 40 percent of the low-alcohol beer it offers in Utah.

A handful of states limited beer sold in grocery stores to 3.2 percent alcohol-by-weight but most lifted the restriction in recent years. Utah and Minnesota will soon be the only two states with the restriction.
Fewer selections at Utah grocery stores could send overwhelming levels of shoppers to state-run liquor stores unless lawmakers allow stronger beer to be sold in grocery and convenience stores.
