A new National Park app is available for Apple and Android mobile devices that includes some of Utah’s national parks.
The Capitol Reef guide mobile app, created by Chimani Inc., based in Maine, provides travelers with an extra tool to help plan trips to Capitol Reef National Park.
“The app itself is much like a traditional guidebook, except imagine that on your phone. It has all curated content and gives you details all about hiking trails, the slot trails, as well as different events that are going on within the park. ”
Kerry Gallivan, Chimani’s CEO, said the app will help travelers find the attractions and different areas in and around the park.
“And what’s unique about the Chimani App, it works completely off-line, and is designed specifically for being used in the outdoors, and being used within national parks. So, it’s a great planning tool and it helps you just get the most out of your experience the next time you’re in Capitol Reef or any other national park in Utah.”
The Capitol Reef app now joins Chimani-created apps for Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park and Arches National Park.
