Police say a car with a sticker of a Utah online gun marketplace was found vandalized after a Sandy town hall on gun reform.
The car owner reported to police Saturday night that someone had scratched lines and a vulgar word into the paint on the side of his vehicle.
Sandy police Sgt. Jason Nielsen says the word is large enough to read from a distance.
More than 1,000 people attended the town hall which featured survivors of the Parkland, Florida school shooting.
About 30 pro-gun activists including members of Utah Gun Exchange staged a protest outside the town hall.
Madalena McNeil, who was involved with the forum says, says she hopes the crime doesn't impact the relationship her group has with the exchange.
