'Dangerous' Sex Offender Who Escaped From Kansas May Be In Utah

John Freeman Colt, 42, a "dangerous sex offender" who escaped from a Kansas mental hospital, may be in Utah. U.S. Marshals say they are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to his capture.Officials say Colt escaped from the Kansas hospital on June 30. U.S. Marshal for the District of Kansas says Colt “presents a clear threat to the community every day he is not in custody.”

 

Officials say Colt is 5’7,” weighs around 200 pounds and has hazel eyes and brown hair. He also has a tattoo of a heart with the letters “BH” on his left arm.

 

Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact their local law enforcement with information.
