Gov. Cox Discusses How Utah Is Handling Drought

Utah Governor Spencer Cox appeared on FOX 13 Live Wednesday night to discuss how Utah is handling the current drought conditions, and he says Utah has “to conserve water better.”In the discussion, Cox pointed out that Utah is in the top 5 fastest warmest states in the nation, which correlates directly with population growth. Cox says the state has risen three whole degrees since 1970.

Cox pleaded with Utahns, asking everyone to be “extra, extra careful this year” with fires and personal fireworks.

Cox added there are lots of ways for Utahns to get more information on how to better conserve water including https://slowtheflow.org/ and https://conservewater.utah.gov/
