Our guest for the hour is Doctor Stuart Fischer, Medical Director of Bronx Gardens Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in New York City. We’ll talk about the impact of holiday travel on the spread of the virus, how people living with chronic conditions can stay healthy, and lessons learned from the pandemic, among many other topics.

Dr. Stuart Fischer is a graduate of Yale University and is the Medical Director of Bronx Gardens Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.  He trained in internal medicine at Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn. He worked as an emergency room attending physician in Cabrini Hospital for four years. Dr. Fischer spent nine years as a practice associate of the legendary Dr. Robert Atkins. He is also an author and has written books including “The Park Avenue Diet,” “The Little Book of Big Medical Emergencies”, and his new book, a collection of short stories about the life of a doctor, “The Invisible Worm That Flies in the Night.
