Man Dies From Heat Exhaustion At Zion National Park

An out-of-state visitor at Zion National Park died after complaining about heat exhaustion. Medics and emergency medical technicians were dispatched to his location on Monday and found him unresponsive.

Officials say Wisconsin resident John Henry Wolfe, 32, was expressing concerns about the weather at the exit route of the Left Fork of North Creek.

 

According to AcuWeather, temperatures reached a high of 95 degrees at Zion National Park when Wolfe mentioned he was experiencing symptoms of heat exhaustion.

 

Officials say the National Park Service and Washington County Sheriff’s Office are continuing to investigate the case.
