Prepare for Inconvenience: UDOT Has $4 Billion Worth of Plans

Utah Department of Transportation officials say drivers should be prepared to be inconvenienced by its plans to complete more than 200 projects this year, mainly to improve roadways and streets.

John Njord, UDOT's executive director, says it’s looking for ways to minimize the impact and the agency has releaseda guide to the 20 most significant projects they’ll be working on, which includes U.S. 89 in Ogden (Washington Blvd), U.S. 191 north of Moab,  U.S. 40 in Vernal, and several stretches of I-15 throughout the state.

Officials say they hope the guide will help drivers avoid construction zones — or at least plan for them.
