Residents Of Cache Valley Gather To Protest Police Brutality

In Logan, more than 100 protesters gathered at the corner of Main Street and First North. Car horns were heard honking in support of demonstrators.

Community members, business owners, and Logan City Police officers dropped off food and water throughout the day. There were a few diesel truck drivers who passed the the Historic Cache County Courthouse, yelling negative comments and spewing puffs of dark smoke.

Another protest is scheduled for Saturday at 11 am in downtown Logan.

Her radio news interests led her to Logan where she became news director for KBLQ while attending Utah State University. She graduated USU with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and spent the next few years working for Utah Public Radio.
