In honor of World Bicycle Day on Thursday, Lawnstarter released a report about the best cities to bike in across the United States, and Salt Lake City has been named as the eighth best city to bike in America.Lawnstarter used 18 key indicators to rank the 200 largest cities in the U.S. Salt Lake ranked particularly high in the access and community categories. Access includes miles of bike lanes, bike trails and bike shops, while community includes bike tours, clubs and workers who commute to their jobs on a bike.
The cities that rank above Utah are San Francisco, Portland, Fort Collins, Eugene, Minneapolis, Seattle and Washington, DC.
