Target Shooting Temporarily Suspended In Select Wildlife Management Areas Due To Wildfire Risk

Target shooting has been temporarily prohibited at 17 Utah wildlife management areas due to wildfire concerns.

 

The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources says target shooting will be prohibited immediately and until fire conditions improve at the following wildlife management areas:

 

Coldwater WMA (Box Elder County)

Brigham Face WMA (Box Elder County)

Richmond WMA (Cache County)

Millville/Providence WMA (Cache County)

East Canyon WMA (Morgan County)

White Hill WMA (Sanpete County)

Black Hill WMA (Sanpete County)

Six Mile WMA (Sanpete County)

Twelve Mile WMA (Sanpete County)

Henefer/Echo WMA (Summit County)

Kamas WMA (Summit County)

Santaquin WMA (Utah County)

Dairy Fork WMA (Utah County)

Lassen Draw WMA (Utah County)

Spencer Fork WMA (Utah County)

Wallsburg WMA (Wasatch County)

Middle Fork WMA (Weber Count

 

At 14-years-old, Kerry began working as a reporter for KVEL “The Hot One” in Vernal, Utah. Her radio news interests led her to Logan where she became news director for KBLQ while attending Utah State University. She graduated USU with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and spent the next few years working for Utah Public Radio. Leaving UPR in 1993 she spent the next 14 years as the full time mother of four boys before returning in 2007. Kerry and her husband Boyd reside in Nibley.
