UDWR’s Water Waster Website Flooded With Complaints

A website created by the Utah Division of Water Resources to take complaints about water wasters is getting flooded with complaints.According to a report from FOX 13, the UDWR said that the website had received 1,087 reports within the first 24 hours of the site being published. In comparison, there were only 167 complaints in all of 2020.

The UDWR said the website never posts the complaints publicly. Instead, it sends the reports to local water districts who can reach out and find ways to help the offending location be more conservative with their water usage.
