Utah and Cache County fire officials are tweeting through Utah Fire Info that the human-caused Card Canyon Fire at the intersection of Logan Canyon Highway 89 and Card Canyon is 80% contained. The 3.5-acre blaze is under investigation and crews expect to gain full control on Tuesday.
The fire started Sunday and initially closed the turnoff to Card Canyon but by Monday evening, it had reopened.
The Aviator 2 fire outside of Fairfield is 100% contained after burning 150 acres.
Firefighters report 75% containment on the 6400 Fire in Duchesne County Monday afternoon.
