Authorities in Utah say an 11-year-old girl has been hospitalized after she fell at a waterfall above the Sundance Mountain Resort this past weekend.
The Salt Lake Tribune reported that the Utah County sheriff’s office said the girl sustained a serious head injury after falling 70 feet and was flown by helicopter to Primary Children’s Hospital. She remained in critical condition Sunday. Deputies and other rescue authorities responded to the fall at Stewart Falls, about a mile west of the Sundance ski resort and about 15 miles northeast from Provo.
