Utahs Poison Control Center Can Answer Questions About Adverse Vaccine Reactions, 24/7

Utahns who receive the COVID-19 vaccine and experience side effects can call the Utah Poison Control Center for assistance. The center is staffed 24/7 and is prepared to answer questions about adverse reactions to the vaccine as well as make reports about such incidents.

In an update to the state’s coronavirus website, directors of the Utah Poison Control Center state that their team is in full support of people receiving the vaccine. They wrote that most side effects are short-lived and while there are rare cases where a person may experience anaphylaxis, the number of people experiencing this is similar to the rate it happens with other vaccines.
