October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month. Jump the Moon Art Studio, which offers art-making opportunities to people with disabilities, along with the Cache Employment and Training Center (CETC), is working to bring attention to the strength and diversity that persons with disabilities contribute to our communities.
On Access Utah we’ll talk with Michael Bingham from Jump the Moon; and Aubree Popock, a job developer with Cache Employment and Training Center, and Marie Holst, Employment Services Director with CETC, about providing employment and other opportunities to persons with disabilities. We'll also hear from Denise Smock, a client and employee with CETC.
