Dr. Roslynn McCann is a mom, environmentalist, outdoor adventurer, and Associate Professor in the Department of Environment and Society at Utah State University. Her family lives in a 100% electric, straw-bale home that feeds the grid solar energy within a walking-biking only community, and houses the first legal residential greywater system in the state (their shower and laundry water feed their permaculture gardens). Her work is currently centered on applying the permaculture design framework to address climate change mitigation and adaptation.
