Jason Gilmore in Iowa 2020

Utah State University assistant professor Jason Gilmore is writing a book on President Donald Trump’s communication style called "Exceptional Me: How Donald Trump Remade the Discourse of American Exceptionalism.”  

The week before the Iowa Caucuses, Gilmore traveled to Iowa to attend both a Trump rally and several Democratic rallies for research. Here is a series of UPR interviews with Gilmore about his trip.
