Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, the ACLU has filed 14 lawsuits to ensure that all eligible voters in Wyoming and across the nation have the option to vote safely by mail, and the nonpartisan group says it isn't backing down now.

Though thousands of ballots were cast by mail, voters in Cache County still lined up at the single polling station on Tuesday to make their voices heard.

As was expected, Lt. Gov. Spencer Cox won Utah’s gubernatorial race on Tuesday evening. Due to COVID-19, he and his running mate Senator Diedre Henderson addressed supporters through Facebook Live from Fairview, Utah.

It’s the day after Election Day. We don’t know for sure who has won the presidential election. Control of the U.S. Senate is still unclear. Many votes are still being counted. The picture in Utah is clearer. We’ll talk about where we are and where we go from here.

The Green Party says that third parties can force progress on political issues; they can provide an “emotional bridge” for voters weary of voting for one major party but not ready to vote for the other; and they can help turn one of the major parties out of power.

On Tuesday new campaign ads for Utah’s gubernatorial race began circulating online. The ads—paid for in part by Republican candidate Spencer Cox’s campaign—feature both Cox and Democratic candidate Chris Peterson speaking about shared values and urging Utahns to choose civility.

A majority of American voters - 58 %- say vote by mail should be available to everyone in the upcoming November election due to concerns over the coronavirus pandemic, according to a recent Politico and Morning Consult poll.

On Tuesday, former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman Jr. resigned from his post as United States Ambassador to Russia and is predicted to run for governor again in 2020.  Recent polling for the gubernatorial election provides early insight on the preferences of Utah voters, specifically for candidates Huntsman and Spencer Cox.
