The artistic team for Salt Lake City’s Pioneer Theater Company has been using their costuming talents to make masks. Throughout the pandemic, they have donated masks to various places and are now selling them to keep staff employed.

With COVID-19 cases in Utah growing by nearly 10% each day, Gov. Herbert announced Wednesday that mask-wearing will be mandatory at all state facilities, including higher education facilities and liquor stores. He said although he believes masks help prevent the spread of the coronavirus, he has is not planning on issuing a statewide mandate

Intermountain Healthcare and University of Utah Health have released guidelines for donating masks and other items to support the COVID-19 response.

In a statement release Wednesday the healthcare providers expressed appreciation for the generosity of so many people in the community who are looking for ways to help.
