The Human Rights Campaign Foundation released its seventh annual Municipal Equality Index earlier this month which assesses 506 cities across the country to see where the cities rank for LGBTQ equality. Eight of the 506 cities were in Utah and the index found the averaged score for Utah was lower than the national average.

Zion Bighorn Sheep Herd Infected With Pneumonia

A few bighorn sheep in the Zions National Park herd have been diagnosed with a sheep-specific strain of pneumonia. While the number of infected sheep is currently less than 10, that number could change every day and two sheep have already been euthanized for testing.
