Back in April, Todd Peterson, like everyone else in Utah, was spending a lot of time at home with his wife and three kids in Cedar City. So, he jumped at the chance to be a guest for an online program offered through Southern Utah University. 

Our new learn-from-home courses are free, fun and available to you and your family. Classes are led by Southern Utah experts volunteering their time and talents in interactive 45-minute sessions. Learn techniques for green thumb gardening, interior decorating, making Italian cuisine and even take a virtual hike with a southern Utah geologist. 

Friday, the Utah Board of Regents selected Dr. Bradley J. Cook to be the 17th president of Snow College, in Ephraim. Cook has served as Provost and a professor of history at Southern Utah University, since 2009. During that time, he worked to establish SUU as a national leader in student-centric, highly engaged learning environments.

Thursday, the Utah System of Higher Education released the latest enrollment numbers and Southern Utah University once again leads the state’s colleges and universities in percentage growth from the previous year.

The sound of carillon bells welcomed students back to Southern Utah University after the holiday break.
