Police say a man charged in the deaths of two Utah teenagers found down an abandoned mine shaft has discussed the slayings during hundreds of jailhouse phone calls.

A newly unsealed search warrant says 41-year-old Jerrod Baum has made more than 1,000 calls on a recorded line.

A Utah man has been charged with aggravated murder in the deaths of his girlfriend and her 3-year-old son two years after they disappeared.

Charging documents unsealed Monday say the bodies of 23-year-old Emily and Gabriel Almiron have never been found. Authorities believe her boyfriend killed them, wrapped their bodies in sheets and hid them somewhere.

Charging documents state a Utah woman who is already facing charges of trying to hire a hit man to kill her ex-husband now faces additional charges for asking a fellow inmate to kill the hit man.

Linda Tracy Gillman is charged with two counts of first-degree felony criminal solicitation for the first case. But the 69-year-old is now accused of trying to persuade a fellow jail inmate to kill the hit man she tried to hire, who is a primary witness against her.

A Utah man has been sentenced to life in prison without parole in Wyoming one year after authorities say he and his father killed a Utah rail line worker while on the run from police following the kidnapping of a mother and her daughters.

The 23-year-old Dereck James "DJ" Harrison was sentenced Wednesday in a court in the small town of Kemmerer, Wyoming near the Utah state line.

Harrison pleaded guilty last month to first-degree murder in the slaying of 63-year-old Kay Porter Ricks and avoided the death penalty.
