Critical minerals are commodities considered essential to our economy but with a supply chain at risk. Helium is on the list and that designation has focused attention on Utah’s potential for helium resources. The Utah Helium Symposium was held at USU– Price campus.

Hotels and motels in northern Utah began expanding services last week and for the first time since the middle of March, guests are being allowed access to swimming pools.

Gov. Gary Herbert announced Utah will be transitioning from “red,” or the high-risk category in terms of the coronavirus pandemic, to “orange,” or moderate risk, on Friday.

The board of Summerfest Arts Faire has announced that their 2020 festival will be cancelled due to concerns about COVID-19. The festival is usually held on Father’s Day weekend at Logan’s LDS Tabernacle Square.
