Poll: Lee Leads Senate Race By 37 Percent

denvergov.org

According to a Dan Jones and Associates poll released by UtahPolicy.com, Republican incumbent Sen. Mike Lee leads his Democratic Party challenger Misty Snow by 37 percent. The remaining 17 percent who were polled were split between those who are undecided and third party supporters.

This is Lee’s first reelection bid since riding a Republican wave of support into the U.S. Senate in 2010. In 2010, he successfully challenged another incumbent, former Sen. Bob Bennett, for the GOP nomination.

One of the poll’s findings was that Lee has a higher lead over Snow among voters 18 to 24 years old than he does with voters 25 to 34. Among the former group, Lee leads by 52 percent. Within the latter age demographic, he is leading 12 percent.
