Northbound I-15 near Willard has reopened after 3-4 hours of closure due to a man walking into the right lane and being struck by a semi-truck early Friday morning.
The incident occurred at 5:15 a.m. at mile marker 356 near the store Smith and Edwards. A black car with California plates was parked in the right-hand emergency lane in the area where the man walked into traffic. The Utah Highway Patrol located the man’s information from inside the parked car. It appears that the cause of the incident was suicide. The man’s name has not yet been released.
