Fred Adams, the founder of the Utah Shakespeare Festival in Cedar City, passed away earlier this week. Adams moved to Utah in 1959 and a few years later, began the festival in hopes of helping his new community. In 2013, he sat down with Scott Phillips, who was then the festival’s director, for a conversation as part of the UPR and StoryCorp collaboration.
