Man Killed In Blast At Northern Utah Engineering Business

Authorities say a man was killed in an explosion at an engineering business in northern Utah. The Standard-Examiner in Ogden reports the man, whose name has not been released, died in the blast at HyPerComp Engineering in Brigham City on Tuesday morning. The man, who was in his mid-30s, is thought to have been the only one in the building at the time. Investigators have not said what caused the explosion, which also damaged one of the building's walls. HyPerComp manufactures pressure vessels often used in the automotive and aerospace industries. No other information has been released.
