Police Yet To Find 2 Teenage Girls Missing On Utah Lake

The Utah County sheriff’s office has resumed a search Thursday morning for two teenagers who went missing on Utah Lake earlier this week. The Salt Lake Tribune reported that two girls, ages 17 and 18, were reported missing by family members Wednesday after going to the Knolls area on the west side of the lake. The search was originally suspended about 3 a.m. and resumed around 7:30 a.m. The girls have yet to be located. Authorities found what they believe were two tubes the girls were floating on. Sgt. Spencer Cannon says the cold temperature of the lake would make it difficult to survive.
