Authorities in Utah have identified the woman killed in a violent incident at a home south of Salt Lake City, where a child was also injured.
KUTV-TV reported Wednesday that the Unified Police Department identified 41-year-old Utahna Halona. Police say two children came out of the Midvale house on Wednesday and told a neighbor that their father was attacking their mother. Authorities say the woman later died from her injuries. Police say a 7-year-old girl was also injured and was taken to the hospital. She is expected to be OK. Authorities say a suspect has been identified, but not yet booked. An investigation is ongoing.
