Man Hurt In Apparent Blast At Utah Home Investigated In July

An apparent explosion has injured a man in a Utah home where police said they previously found a stash of weapons and explosives.

Fire officials say there was no active fire when they arrived at the South Jordan home Saturday and found the middle-aged man with lower leg injuries. KUTV reports authorities went to the same home in July and found it booby-trapped with explosive devices. Police last summer arrested the man who lived there, Ryan McManigal, for attempted homicide and three counts of using a weapon of mass destruction. McManigal remained jailed and couldn't be reached for comment Sunday.
