Salt Lake City In Top 10 US Metros For ‘Digital Nomads’

According to a recent study from Yelp and Zillow, Salt Lake City is in the top 10 U.S. cities for “Digital Nomads” — cities that offer the best mix of available, affordable and flexible rental housing and other community amenities as people work remotely.

Yelp Trend Expert Tara Lewis said these cities “boast a mix of outdoor adventure and city perks that are appealing to the many young professionals who have transitioned to the nomadic lifestyle due to their new-found ability to work from anywhere.”

Salt Lake ranked tenth on the list. The report found people were most excited by its proximity to some of the world’s most popular ski resorts and other recreation activities like hiking, biking, camping and fishing.

Yelp and Zillow also considered Salt Lake’s rental rates of $1,782 per month to be favorable compared to other intermountain locations.
