Death Of Central Utah Inmate Investigated As Possible Homicide

The death of an inmate at the Central Utah Correctional Facility is being treated as a possible homicide by investigators.According to the Utah Department of Corrections, an inmate was found unresponsive in his cell Monday morning. After a quick medical evaluation, he was declared dead shortly thereafter. 

 

No further details have been given, but the Utah State Bureau of Investigation says the man’s death is being investigated as a possible homicide. The victim’s name has not yet been released.

 

 

The Henry facility, where the victim was found, has been put on lockdown. The Department of Corrections says it will remain that way until further notice.
