Utah Schools To Receive $250M In Funding For Pandemic Recovery

On Wednesday, Utah schools received $250 million in funds to aid with pandemic recovery. 

The U.S Department Of Education announced the state’s plans for how it will use the funds have been approved. 

 

State Superintendent Sydnee Dickson said the funds will be used to, “mitigate the pandemic’s impacts on students, teachers, and families.” 

 

Utah has received a total of $615 million from American Rescue Plan to help schools recover from the pandemic.
