Southern Utah Towns Hit Hard By Flooding

City officials in Enoch said the city received 2.5 inches of rain on Sunday which led to widespread flooding.

Geoffrey Chestnut, Enoch Mayor, declared a state of emergency as a result of the flooding.

The city located in Iron County is near Cedar City which was also hard hit by the storm.

The flooding has caused various issues across the state, including the death of a mineworker in Emery County and an elderly woman who had to be rescued from her home in Tooele County after she was trapped by water slamming into her home.
