UDOT Says To Plan For Delays Over Labor Day Weekend

The Utah Department of Transportation reminded drivers to plan ahead as many look to take to the roads during the upcoming Labor Day weekend.Traffic engineers expect delays on Friday of up to 20 minutes on northbound Interstate 15 through Davis County. 10-minute delays are expected on southbound Interstate through Salt Lake County. Return trips on Monday are expected to also cause some delays.

UDOT says it will be suspending construction on many of its current projects to help with congestion.

Utah’s national and state parks often experience large amounts of visitors on holiday weekends, so UDOT says to expect delays if you are traveling anywhere near such locations.
