Club member Jeff Clayton will give a brief overview of equipment and imaging methods and techniques. He will do a live processing demo using PixInsight from start to end, explaining each step. This will be an informational presentation covering most of the experience of astrophotography from image acquisition to postprocessing the acquired data. He will use data he collected from his backyard in Hyrum.

Jeff has loved astronomy since childhood. He started experimenting with astrophotography 13 years ago and enjoyed it for a few years. He got back into it around 2022 and has never looked back. He spent a decade teaching electronics and programming and is currently 9 years into his career as an automation and controls engineer here in Cache Valley.
