Golden Spike: Whistle Stop at USU talks

The 43-foot-tall Golden Spike Monument, inspired by those ceremonially used to complete the transcontinental railroad in 1869 will begin its spring journey in the Driving of the Spike: Jupiter Tour.

On Tuesday, April 30 from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m., the spike will be at Utah State University in Logan. In the Sorenson Center for Clinical Excellence Room 150 from 12:30 -1:30 PM —Doug Foxely, Darren Parry, and Ross Peterson will share fun stories about their experiences with the foundation and visits to the artist's studio during the making of the Golden Spike Monument. The discussion will be followed with ice cream in the Beverley Garden.
