Swaner and Spring Creek Trailhead Hike with Michael O’Malley and Wendy Fisher on August 14th at 9:00 a.m.

On this five and a half-mile, easy hike along the Millennium Trail, led by Wendy Fisher of Utah Open Lands, Swaner EcoCenter staff, and local history researcher Michael O’Malley, we’ll walk from the Swaner EcoCenter to the Hi-Ute Barn to Spring Creek Trailhead and back to the EcoCenter. Besides discussing some of the conservation easements along the route, we’ll learn about the Snyder family, the Swaner family, an old railroad, the Pony Express, beaver dams, and elk migration.
