The Seleny Joanne OPEN Karate Championship 2025 – Where Angels Kick is a heartfelt martial arts tournament held in memory of Seleny Joanne Crosby, a young karate champion who tragically passed away after being struck by a school bus in South Jordan in 2014.

Now in its 7th year, SJ Cup '25 welcomes participants from across Utah and beyond in a celebration of courage, legacy, and unity. This year's tournament features:

✅ Inclusive competition: All styles (Karate, Kenpo, TKD, Kung Fu), all ages, all ranks
✅ Special divisions for athletes with disabilities

✅ Live opening ceremony featuring singer Anna Madison
