SLC West-East Connections Art Instillation Events
SLC West-East Connections Art Instillation Events
The public is invited to visit the community-created art installation on 900 South between 500 West and 900 West to visually experience the divide between Salt Lake City's East and West neighborhoods on Thursday February 5th at 10:00 a.m.
Salt Lake City’s Westside neighborhoods are physically separated from the rest of the city by Interstate 15 and several major railroad tracks. These barriers present a daily challenge for people who need to cross and have trickle-down effects across the westside. Salt Lake City’s West-East Connections Study (WE Connect) is working directly with Westside residents to identify the problems, co-create solutions, and prioritize future implementation. See the attached flyer for details about our upcoming events and visit the project website at https://www.slc.gov/transportation/plans-studies/west-east-connections/ to learn more. We look forward to hearing your ideas on how to make Salt Lake City a better place to live, work, and play!
