UPR’s Event Calendar is available to non-profit organization hosting events which are particularly appealing to the UPR listening audience. Please see Submission Guidelines at the top of the submission page prior to submitting. We recommend submitting events several weeks in advance.
Event must be open to the public and have a significant art or cultural element. Good examples include musical performances of all genres, live theatre, art shows, dances, educational or guest lectures, public parades, festivals, and workshops. Event must take place within the UPR listening area. Please include contact information for the public to reach you directly. Do not submit event information in ALL CAPS. Any events with information in ALL CAPS will be automatically rejected. Event titles must not include the date or location. Submission to the Events Calendar does not imply automatic on-air mentions. UPR is not responsible for erroneous information. If you have submitted incorrect information, please contact the station and ask to have your entry deleted, allowing you to resubmit. It is in the station’s best interest to remain independent from politics, advocacy, and matters of opinion. Related events will not be approved. Please fill in as much information as possible. UPR reserves all editorial rights. Events may take up to a week to receive approval and appear on the site, so we recommend submitting events several weeks in advance.
