Over 10,000 pounds of pork skins have been recalled by Evans Food Group

Evans Food Group has recalled over 10,000 pounds of pork rind products that shipped out to a number of states, including Utah.

The USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service explained these products were not subject to inspection when they were imported to the United States. No adverse effects have been reported by individuals who consumed the pork skins however those who purchased the products, which include Mac’s, 7-Select, Turkey Creek, and Cazo de Oro brand porkskins, are urged not to eat them and to throw them away or return them to the store where they were purchased.
