No students or staff were significantly harmed when a Cache County School Bus slid off the road on 400 East in Trenton, Utah Wednesday evening.
There were two aides and three children, one of whom was in a wheelchair, aboard the vehicle as well as the bus driver according to a press release from the Cache County Sheriff's Office. The child in the wheelchair was unable to leave the bus, but was carried off when Sheriff's deputies and other responders arrived at the scene.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation, but according to the CCSO report, it was difficult to see the road because of snow and weather, and the driver drove too close to the side of the road.
