A Utah technology company has sued the booking agency for The Killers, claiming the rock band wants to be paid for a show at an annual conference that was canceled because of the coronavirus outbreak.

The Deseret News reports Qualtrics LLC plans to reschedule its annual X4 user summit at the Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City. Qualtrics says Los Angeles-based SME Entertainment Group refused to support its decision to cancel the conference last week. The event was to feature former first lady Michelle Obama among others. SME books bands, celebrities, keynote speakers and athletes for a variety of events. It didn't have immediate comment on the suit.
