Avalanche Awareness Week Kickoff Event
The Utah Avalanche Center’s seventh annual Avalanche Awareness Week kicks off with a free event at Sugarhouse Park’s Big Field Pavilion from 4-7 p.m. Dec. 1, featuring mock avalanche rescue drills, wilderness first aid demonstrations, and activities for children. The event will include outdoor industry vendors to showcase the latest safety equipment.
