Beginning Calligraphy and Chinese Painting: Flowers and Birds书法和花鸟画 (Ages 12+)

The Visual Art Institute in Salt Lake City will hold a beginning course in calligraphy and Chinese painting for 8 weeks on Tuesdays beginning March 31st. Learn several ways to use a calligraphy brush, and train your composition skills and control over ink and water. 学会毛笔的多种笔法,以及中国画的构图和水墨关系。

Calligraphy and Chinese painting are important parts of traditional Chinese art. They are also a way of presenting Chinese philosophy and cognition.
